CUORE DI MARCHESA
Cuore di Marchesa is a boutique Sicilian winery rooted in passion, tradition, and the bold vision of winemaker Pietro di Giovanni. Nestled in the heart of Etna DOC territory, the winery is dedicated to producing elegant, terroir-driven wines that reflect the wild beauty of Sicily’s volcanic landscape.
Pietro, a native of Sicily, brings a deep respect for his land and a contemporary touch to ancient viticultural traditions. His meticulous approach in both vineyard and cellar results in wines of precision, purity, and depth—each bottle a tribute to the volcanic soils, native grape varieties, and expressive microclimates of Mount Etna and its surroundings.
Cuore di Marchesa is best known for its compelling Etna Bianco and Etna Rosso, made from Carricante and Nerello Mascalese, respectively. These wines showcase minerality, freshness, and restraint—a refined expression of one of Italy’s most exciting wine regions. The estate’s standout bottlings, like Cenere Etna Bianco, elevate the conversation around Sicilian white wines with layered complexity and a striking saline backbone.
Under Pietro’s guidance, Cuore di Marchesa produces wines with minimal intervention, always aiming to honor the vineyard first. The winery’s philosophy is rooted in biodiversity, sustainability, and a hands-off approach that allows each varietal and vintage to speak authentically.
Though still young, Cuore di Marchesa has earned a growing reputation among sommeliers and collectors alike, admired for its commitment to place, precision, and soulful winemaking. From volcanic slopes to bottle, every wine is a love letter to Sicily—crafted with heart, rooted in heritage.
