This wine is the quintessential expression of fresh Nebbiolo. The color is ruby red with typical subtle orange highlights. Aromas and flavors of violet, cherry, raspberry, strawberry and spices. The wine is full, harmonious and refined.
Vineyard Notes
Vineyard location: Municipalities of Diano d’Alba, and Vezza d’Alba. Total vineyard surface: Ha 2,55. Exposure: South / South-East. Soil: Tortoniano soil rich in silt and sand. Plants per hectare: from 3800 to 5000. Vine training system: Guyot with 7-8 buds.
Production Notes
8.000-10.000 bottled produced. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at 28°C for 20 days. Aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 6-7 months.

The estate was established in 1920 by Giovanni Mainerdo, who, fueled by a great passion for wine, began vinifying small batches of grapes from certain areas of particular prestige in different municipalities in Neive, Barbaresco and Serralunga d'Alba.
