Intense red color, large bouquet, aroma and fruit mature flavor, plums and cherries, with spicy notes and vanilla. In the mouth, it has a pleasant persistent, well-balanced, with delicate tannins. Long in the finish.
In the borough of Canale, on average altitude. Soutwest exposure. The ancient marine origin, also offers a natural spectacle:Le Rocche are sandy hill slopes, ochre-colored. The marine allows the harvesting of grapes that give wines rugged and elegant.
This is the peculiarity that characterizes it: part of the grapes make its maturation in oak barriques, while the rest is placed in large oak barrels (Slavonia). Then the two parts are put together to complete their maturation and large oak barrels for 18 months. An additional step takes place in steel before bottled.
