Marina, the heart and soul behind DOCG Imports, is a true ambassador of Italian wine. Her story is deeply intertwined with the rolling hills of Tuscany, where her family's roots run deep. It's this profound connection to her heritage that fuels her passion for bringing authentic, small-production wines of Italy to discerning palates.

Marina's journey is one of remarkable versatility and unwavering dedication. Her early career in technology, marked by roles at industry giants like Oracle and Phone.com, saw her navigate the cutting edge of innovation, playing a pivotal role in the rise of mobile internet. This global perspective and entrepreneurial spirit, honed in the dynamic world of technology, laid the foundation for her later ventures.

A lifelong love affair with Italy, enriched by fluency in the language and frequent sojourns, led Marina to pursue her true calling. In 2009, she founded Eve Italia Srl in Venice, where she orchestrated spectacular events, including the "Venice in Venice" art exhibition and prestigious collateral events for the America's Cup World Series. Her ability to craft unforgettable experiences showcased her meticulous attention to detail and her innate talent for bringing visions to life.

Driven by an insatiable passion for the rich tapestry of Italian culture and the artistry of its winemakers, Marina embarked on a new chapter. Achieving sommelier certification, she launched DOCG Imports, a testament to her commitment to showcasing the hidden gems of Italy's wine regions.
