Winemaker Notes
Age worthy. Fiano di Avellino is a DOCG wine whose production is allowed in 26 municipalities in the province of Avellino, where the grape was taken by the Greeks and the first vines were planted in Lapio. The name seems to derive from Vitis Apicius or Apina feature, typical of this grape from the sweet scent, attracting swarms of bees in the vineyards. By Jacek afiana and then came this apiana fiano. It was once a sweet wine, slightly sparkling. Today the Fiano di Avellino DOCG is a dry white wine, intense, elegant and textured, suitable with ageing, characteristics that derive from both the climate mild in summer Irpinia-but winter hard, with warm days and cool nights – both from soils, Loamy, fertile soil.
Food & Wine Pairing
Crustaceans, fish with sauces and grilled seafood.

The winery is located in the Avellino province (Campania region – South of Italy). The estate extends for twelve hectares (from which the winery names “DODICIETTARI”), of which nine planted with grapevines.
